However, the figures reveal, much of this drop had already started before the ban. It also highlights the leading role of Iceland in supplying this major market, led by Iceland Pelagic, the biggest single exporter of all for seafood to Russia. On the import side, it shows the weight of Russian Sea Group, which claimed a tenth of all seafood imports to the country in the period (in volume), followed by OOO Akra, part of Defa Group.
